Eye tests are available for Children and Adults.

We also offer Home Eye Tests.

What happens in a comprehensive eye exam?

Roisin and Judith will examine all parts of your vision and eye health, focusing on delivering the thorough eyecare assessment that you deserve.

Each appointment is personalised,the time allocated and the process followed is unique to the patients’ needs.

Full Eye Health Care

Our full eye health examination includes:

A thorough case history;
Internal eye examination;
External eye examination;
A test of how clearly you see and determine if a prescription is needed to give the best vision possible;
How well your eyes work together as a team.

Advice will be given if any vision correction or a new prescription is required. You will be given your eye test prescription, and advised when your next eye test is due. If there are any signs of any condition or general health problems, we may recommend additional eye tests and/or referral to your doctor or an ophthalmologist for further investigation.

Additional Tests

We have a variety of additional tests at our disposal to further examine your eyes if necessary, including:

Visual field testing (to check peripheral vision);
Tonometry (to check eye pressure);
Optos ultra widefield retinal imaging;
Corneal Topography (to capture a digital image of cornea).

Home Visits

If you are home bound and unable to visit our Opticians we can provide a home visit service to our patients. This allows you to have your eyes examined by our experienced optometrist in the comfort of your own home.
We have all the necessary equipment to carry our a full eye test and carry a wide range of frames should you require them.

Children's Eye Tests

We like to make sure that even our youngest customers feel comfortable and at ease during their appointments.
